Growing up in a Mies van der Rohe townhome in historic Lafayette Park, I began exploring Detroit from the time I was old enough to cross the street on my own. Choosing to go away to college in Colorado, I landed what many would have considered a dream job which provided me with the opportunity to enjoy all the great outdoors had to offer.
While this may have been the ideal scenario for many, I couldn't help but feel something was missing in my life that something was home, and home has always been Detroit.
